What is the mechanism to an acute break to the femur?
Answer:
There is no specific mechanism to a fracture. Most anything can cause a break. Acute simply means fast onset and of course most fractures are going to be that. I agree with the above you need to be more specific in your question.
What do you mean by "mechanism"??? A fracture is a fracture. There's no acute fracture. There's simple, compound, avulsed, bucket-handle, butterfly, comminuted, compression, displaced, greenstick, impacted, intraarticular, torus, linera, neoplstic, pathologic, oblique, occult, segmental, spiral, stellate, stress and transverse. So take your pick. Can you please rephrase your question?
