What is the oneword for 'the old man who is going to die'?

normal death
Answer:
my words would be
"sleep in everlasting peace"
on deathbed. No that's two words.

We have a saying: "one foot in the grave" but guess that doesn't count here.
I don't know, may something with the root mort in it. it's a good question. i think i know it but can't think of it. Moribund means dying but doesn't mean old man dying specifically.

But why would anybody want to reduce a lifetime of joy, celebration, sorrow, ecstasy, dreams, fulfillment, family, tragedies, happiness, heartbreaks and experiences into one word just because a person is going to die?
Hurryup find and tell me the word so that I can verify in the dictionary.
